This chair is one from a pair designed by John Makepeace and made by Alan Amey (b.1958) at the Parnham workshops. The leg is stamped ‘JOHN MAKEPEACE, DESIGNERS & MAKERS, A.W. AMEY’. It is named the Millennium Chair. The chair is in the collection of the art institute of Chicago.
